Eight dog puppies of one of the world's rarest breeds born
Wonderful news has arrived from the United Kingdom for all dog lovers: a litter of as many as 8 dogs belonging to one of the rarest dog breeds in the world was recently born.
These are Wetterhoun puppies, a Dutch Spaniel breed with a worldwide population of about 1,000 dogs. The Wetterhoun breed is native to the Netherlands and first appeared in this region 400 years ago. Puppies come with beautiful brown and white curly fur and incredible blue eyes.

Wonderful news has arrived from the United Kingdom for all dog lovers: a litter of as many as 8 dogs belonging to one of the rarest dog breeds in the world was recently born. These are Wetterhoun puppies, a Dutch Spaniel breed with a worldwide population of about 1,000 dogs.
The litter was planned
In November 2022, UK Stabyhoun
Association announced that it had received approval for the first litter of Wetterhoun puppies, scheduled for this spring. The promise materialized, and the rush to get on the waiting list to be able to receive one of these beautiful specimens immediately began. (Pictured is one of the two parents of the litter - the dad).
Parents
Mom and dad are named Aafke and Jappie, two beautiful specimens of the Wetterhoun breed, one of the rarest dogs in the world. As reported by the association, this breed has a docile, calm and reliable character. They are very intelligent, agile and are also excellent in gundog competitions in their native Netherlands. The size is around 55-60 cm at the shoulder. (Pictured is one of the two litter parents - the mother)
Litter
Puppies are presented with beautiful brown and white curly fur and incredible blue eyes. The Wetterhoun breed is native to the Netherlands and first appeared in this region 400 years ago. This litter of as many as 8 pups greatly increases the current Wetterhoun population.
Splendid
The mother, Aafke, belongs to a couple who had long been looking for a male to make puppies. When Jappie, a 6-year-old Wetterhoun dog, was finally spotted, the decision was made and today we can admire these beautiful puppies.
